"The Refinery" is just sad. It's understandable to reference or even use the name of some culturally and historically important place from a cities history but COME ON! it's not like a generation has gone by to at least give cultural cycles time to swing back. This is just outright theft and complete lack of originality.

I find it had to believe that anyone who spent any time at the Sugar Refinery would even consider hiking up those stairs - even under duress or intoxication. And if they have any perogie or perogie style dish on the menu there will be hell to pay...hell I tell you....HELL!!

those dipshit hippies that are trying to boycott Britannia from getting any olympic money need to go attend some marc emery conference or spray paint 'riot 2010' on some small business window some more.

Ask anybody that actually uses the facilities (ie hockey teams, ice skating classes, etc...) and there's no debate that the money is a good idea and renting out the rink is worth it. I'm not for the olympics, but if they are going to be in town (which they are, sorry folks) the money might as well go somewhere good.

What exactly are the "security crackdown" concerns? Too many cops around being over zealous? What are they going to prevent the average drivester from doing?
