Perverts and Weirdos: Sex on the Town

Summer is finally here, school's out and tons of Vancouverites are heading to the PNE for a day of fun and games. Some like to play the midway, some like the rollercoasters, and some like to take a bit of time to come up with some sexy games of their own. We at BR happen to be of the third persuasion.

And so, without further ado, here is another installment of the best places to get coy with your sweetie - whether it be a little innocent kissing, some heavy petting, or something a little more indecent. Because we know you've thought of the outdoors as not just a macrocosm for your earthly whims. We know - as publicists, writers, reporters, designers, fashionistas, alike - that sensual urges call on you whenever and, yes, wherever you may be. READ ON...

Here goes, and just remember, be safe and have a good time! While the possibility of getting caught can be an aphrodisiac, actually getting busted isn't quite as fun. At the top of the map, we've placed a marker on New Brighton Park. The bushes and trees provide perfect cover for a quickie in the woods - just make sure you avoid any prickly bushes or stinging nettles! After riding the rollercoasters, when twilight hits and you've had your full of cotton candy, pick a nice, secluded grassy spot and you'll be set. If you want more of an ocean view, the pier and the beach are also really good places to get it on.

Next we've marked three rides that we think are great places for public affection, if not full-on coitus. The Scrambler, The Enterprise, and The Wild Mouse are great choices, but there are many other options! Fear can be a huge turn-on (remember watching horror flicks in highschool with your girlfriend/boyfriend?), and these rides will definitely leave you wanting to cling to someone special. While you're on the rides (though you may not be able to kiss) you've always got your hands free! And after you get off, you can find a quiet spot behind the food and games stalls to get a little closer.
