Comment Issues

It's been no secret that we've been having issues with our commenting system for a while. In an effort to resolve the issues, we'll be moving the site to a new server later this week and making some code changes to the site. Hopefully this will make the commenting system more reliable, and less painful. Stay tuned. I'll post an update once the changes are in place. Thanks for your patience.

New Site Design Is Live (But Still Needs Some Tweaks)

Unless you're reading this through our RSS feed, you probably noticed that the site looks a little different. Yep, we've updated it with a new look and new features. But we're not done yet. What you see today is just the first step. Essentially, we have the new look in place, but are still working out some bugs and will be implementing some new features and functionality over the next month.

If you're interested in what's changed, please read on....

Editor and Contributors Wanted

We're just moments away from switching over to a new site design. While we're excited about unveiling a new way to experience Beyond Robson, we're also looking to strengthen the editorial content on the site and are looking for a new editor to work with Peter on leading the charge and oversee all editorial on the site. Along with a new editor, we're looking for contributors who can contribute writing, photos, videos, podcasts or anything else to the site.

Interested? Just send an email to jobs [at] beyondrobson [dotcom]. Thanks!

Making Some Changes

We're upgrading the web site. Things might look a little awry over the next few days as we transition over to the new design. Thanks for understanding. More details later.

Experiencing Technical Issues

We're experiencing a few technical issues at the moment. Posting might be slow until we fix them.

Order. Photograph. Eat. Write.

20070319_beyondjobs.jpgHere at BR headquarters we're almost out of ketchup and are currently feeling a bit bloated from eating too much hummus. Um, I guess what we're trying to say is that we're looking for new recruits to contribute restaurant reviews to Beyond Robson.

As a BR staffer, you get all the usual perks such as fame, business cards, a BR email address and minimal pay. But if you're the type that already goes out to eat and likes to take photos of your food and write about it later, then [rolls over due to stomach pains] we should talk!

Just drop us a line at jobs [at] beyondrobson [dot] com. Oh, and we're looking for other kinds of writers (and podcasters) too, so if you feel so inclined please get in touch.
